Tissue Quilt Workshop!

“A single scrap of paper alone can seem insignificant, small, powerless,” explains Raleigh-based artist Maya Freelon, “but when joined together with others there is strength, unity, and beauty.” Join Freelon for a collective artmaking workshop designed in the spirit of quilting bees. Maximizing minimal resources, we’ll create a monumental tissue quilt. Appropriate for all ages and abilities, this fun and inclusive workshop requires no experience, just an open mind and a willingness to participate. FREE, but registration suggested.
