Susan Taaffe

As Preparator, Susan’s role is hands-on, preparing artwork for exhibitions, storage, and shipping, as well as installing exhibitions to meet the curators’ vision. She appreciates the Weatherspoon’s role in promoting personal, artistic, and intellectual growth that builds community. That, along with days filled with artwork, artists, collaboration, hand tools, scaffolding, lifts, and ever-changing materials, in the learning and growing atmosphere of her alma mater, has kept Susan an enthusiastic member of the WAM staff since 1996.
