Loring handles the museum’s marketing and communications, including publicity, website, advertising, photography, graphic design, publications, and strategic messaging. Loring has been working at the Weatherspoon for fifteen years. Prior to that, he had his own PR and marketing firm, worked in magazine publishing, commercial photography, and communications in the aerospace field. Loring graduated from Elmira College with a B.A. in English (concentrating in Medieval Literature), with a minor in Business Management. He also attended Guilford College where he studied English, business, and photography. Loring enjoys cooking, photography, illustration, product design, and tinkering with a future book series.
