Your gifts to the Weatherspoon Art Museum transform lives through the power of art. The museum plays an important role in the academic and cultural life of UNC Greensboro’s campus, the Greensboro community, and the region. Annual gifts to our enrichment fund, named endowments, planned gifts, and gifts of art all work to carry out our mission.
ANNUAL GIFTS
Annual Gifts to the Weatherspoon Art Museum have the power to impact every area of need at the museum. Donors making gifts of $1,000 and above to any fund become part of the Collectors and Curators Circle.
ENDOWMENT GIFTS
Named endowed funds honor the legacy and impact of donors in perpetuity. These gifts may be pledged and fulfilled over a period of years.
PLANNED GIFTS
Planned gifts, such as bequests or charitable trusts, are a meaningful way to leave a future gift for the Weatherspoon while enjoying current financial benefits for yourself and your family. Click here to learn more about planned giving.

Collectors and Curators Circle donors play a critical role in the Weatherspoon’s ability to attract the highest-quality art and programming to improve the lives of our communities through direct engagement with modern and contemporary art. Your support will help to underwrite conversations with leading artists, curators, critics, and thinkers; world-class exhibitions; and programs for university and K–12 students and their families.
A gift of $1,000 or more will enable you to become part of the Collectors and Curators Circle. Donors of the Collectors and Curators Circle enjoy the opportunity to cultivate a richer knowledge and appreciation of art, artists, and the Weatherspoon through enhanced access to the museum’s staff, collections, and activities. Collectors and Curators Circle donors are invited to participate in specific, curated experiences such as trips, behind-the-scenes programs, exclusive engagement with invited speakers, and exhibition previews.
