Join us for a special conversation (Spanish) in the MEMORY gallery of the exhibition
Making Room: Familiar Art, New Stories with
Verónica Grossi.
Verónica is an Associate Professor in the Languages, Literatures and Cultures department at UNCG.
Making Room: Familiar Art, New Stories presents 43 artworks from the Weatherspoon’s collection of more than 6,500. Each was chosen in response to what more than 4,000 community members told us they care about. The exhibition is organized around the broad theme of caring—of being there—using four spaces dedicated to what we heard people care about: FAMILY, COMMUNITY, PLACE, and MEMORY.
Making Room is on view through Spring 2024.
No registration required. Free and open to all.The Weatherspoon will also offer several gallery talks this fall in conjunction with
