Visible Mending and Patch-Making

NOTE:  THIS WORKSHOP IS FULL.

Visible mending is a sustainable and creative way to mend and patch clothes, adding new life and personal expression to worn-out favorites. Durham artist Anna Wallace guides guests through basic visible mending and patch-making techniques. Bring an article of clothing needing repair or make a patch to take home. No sewing experience needed.

Anna Wallace is a Durham-based artist and educator known for her ceramic and textile work.  She received her MFA from UNCG and BFA from Cleveland Institute of Art. Follow her @annawallacemade.
