DESCRIPTION:Location: Benjamin Auditorium, Weatherspoon Art Museum\nArtist Stacy Lynn Waddell creates artworks that consider the authorship and idealism of art historical narratives and how they correspond to the economic and political structures of their time. This fall, UNCG’s School of Art welcomes Wadell as the 2025-26 Falk Visiting artist. Visitors to the Weatherspoon can see her work on view in the current installation Making Connections: Art, Place, and Relationships, and they may also recognize her compelling images from the 2022 exhibition Gilded: Contemporary Artists Explore Value and Worth.
